Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it….
Earlier today I made a statement to a brother about how important it is for people to be able to feel God’s presence the moment they walk into your church. The moment I said that, a thought consumed me: He (The Lord) doesn’t work from afar! We must have God’s presence in our work and we must do everything in our power to preserve His anointing in our midst. Our opinions, thoughts, hurts, desires, agendas, etc… must be motivated by love. If our actions or labors are not motivated by love & coupled by God’s presence, our cause or labor is in vain. Nothing can be accomplished with out his presence!
God desires to be in the center of His work and He desires for all to be aware of His presence. The Lord spoke through the prophet Ezekiel and said: 36:37 “Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.” This is the key to PURE success. God desires to be enquired of, God desires to do the work and God desires to increase the laborers to ensure the success of His work!
Lord, thank you for this simple but yet powerful reminder of Your desire to be the center of our efforts!
