You’ve heard it said in order to reach a mountain top you must first pass thru a valley. This couldn’t be more true! Each of us face hard, dark, and lonely valley’s in our lives in one way or another. Even the mighty King of Israel, David said in Psalm 23 Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. No one is exempt from valley’s, not even Jesus! I believe the Lord had strategically placed in order the Psalms to further illustrate this point.

In Psalm 22 we read about the Messiah’s ministry that would climax on Mount Calvary. Then in Psalm 24 we read about Messiah’s glorious return to the top of another peak, where? Mount Zion! From one mountain peak to another lies in the middle Psalm 23/a valley. If God brought Christ from Calvary’s peak to Zion’s peak don’t worry He’ll bring you through the valley as well!
